Socially engaged artist using creativity to build sustainable communities

I lived in an international ecological village for 6 years. Now I live in a small village in northern Holland and want to connect with other people using art (and urban gardening, etc) as a tool to bring positive change to communities in need.

My most recent activity was as an artist in healthcare with 'Beter Gezelschap"(no longer exists) in Amsterdam.
I wrote a book called 'Chocolate Rain' about using creative activities to engage people with dementia (published in UK and Germany).

I walked out of the art selling scene, am not on Facebook or Twitter out of principle. Am looking for meaningful ways to be an artist which can make a positive difference in other people's lives. Also very much ready for collaboration.

Current inspiration is a book called 'Walk out, Walk on' by Margaret Wheatley and Deborah Frieze about 7 communities globally which healed unsolvable problems using their own resources.
