Muzieksamples uitzoeken

Hacking is finding creative applications that are not intended by the original creator. With students from Hyperion College we hacked a musical composition of the Dutch vocalist Ramses Shaffy.

In collaboration with STEIM (Studio for Electro-Instrumental Music) we played with Ramses' music and electronic instruments to sing what he never sang.
Students of the Hyperion choose each their own sample from the song "Sing, fight, cry, pray, laugh, work and admire." Led by Tijs (STEIM) and Mira (The Beach), the children made new compositions by using a dance pad.

STEIM focuses on live electronic music and The Beach ondesign for social innovation in the areas of employment, education, health care, food, urban development. They work together in the field of hacking and new forms of art for the 21st century.
